Robi Axiata Limited (Robi) is a subsidiary company of the Asian telecom giant, Axiata Group Berhad, based in Malaysia. Other shareholders in the entity are Bharti Airtel International (Singapore) Pte Ltd and NTT DOCOMO Inc.

Now Robi is the second largest mobile network operator in Bangladesh with 46.88Mn subscribers as of end of December 2018. The company commenced operation in 1997 as Telekom Malaysia International (Bangladesh) with the brand name ‘Aktel’. In 2010, it was rebranded as ‘Robi’ and the company changed its name to Robi Axiata Limited.

Following the merger with Airtel Bangladesh, the merged company, Robi Axiata Limited (Robi) started its commercial operation on 16 November 2016. As of now, this is the biggest ever merger of the country and first ever merger in the mobile telecom sector of Bangladesh. Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve individual & team’s Sales, acquisition, retention target from existing and new Corporate accounts by building and developing relationships
  • Lead, coach and develop team to drive greater business results
  • Ensure regular client visit and correspondences to achieve ERGB targets
  • Devise a detailed tailored plan to maximize revenue and other KPI targets in the short and long term
  • Ensure accurate database, adherence to company set (BSS) compliance.
  • Promote Non-voice services, Enterprise Solution Selling and VAS and ensure Revenue growth for Data service
  • Analyse periodic account management reports; periodic analysis of usage and churn reports and exercise regular churn add back initiative to maximize revenue
  • Provide Market insight to relevant stakeholders (i.e. Product, Market Insight) in developing creative solutions to maximize business opportunity
  • Ensure healthy payment habits of Corporate Customers
  • Ensure high standard of customer service to all existing accounts and maintain a company set standard of Corporate Relationship Management (CRM) activities
  • Collect accurate feedback on Client requirements and complaint. Subsequently develop and execute action plans to ensure client satisfaction and thus maximize revenue

Academic Qualification:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree

Experience:

  • 6+ years of Sales Experience among which at least three years in leadership role

Skills required:

  • MS Office Skills
  • Strong Communication & Leadership skills
