The Farmer And His Lazy Sons

Once there lived an old farmer in a village. He had four strong and sturdy sons. But they were very lazy and. They whiled away their time in doing nothing. The farmer was very worried about them. He often asked them to work but they turned a deaf ear to his advice. One day, the fanner fell seriously ill. All hopes for his recovery vanished. Lying on his death-bed, he was still thinking about his sons. Then suddenly, a clever idea flashed through his mind. He sent for his sons. They came there immediately. He told them that he had hidden a big treasure in the land. But before he could locate the place of the treasure, he breathed his last. The sons were deeply disturbed. After the death of their father, they decided to find the treasure out. They dug their whole land but fund no treasure anywhere. They were utterly disappointed and dismayed. On the advice of as they owed crops in their land. They worked very hard in the corn fields. The land yielded a bumper crop. They sold it in the market and earned a lot of money. They were very happy to have so much money. Then they understand the wisdom of their father. At last they had found the secret of the hidden treasure. They became diligent and decided never to sit idle in life.
